Elementary Teacher (Full-Time)
Position Overview:
Boise City Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress through tests, projects, and assignments.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student learning and development.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and integrate cross-disciplinary content.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Valid Oklahoma teaching certification or eligibility to obtain one.
Proven experience teaching at the elementary level with a strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to integrate technology into instruction effectively.
Desired Skills:
Experience with differentiated instruction strategies.
Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms.
